Shin Kee Beef Noodles(新九如牛肉粉)-Petaling Street

Shin Kee Beef Noodles(新九如牛肉粉)-Petaling Street

Shin Kee is the only reason we drove down to Petaling Street foregoing all the traffic jam and limited parking space.  It is very hard to get a good bowl of beef noodles in Klang Valley nowadays. We can say that this the best beef noodles in town compare to the many available around.

Shin Kee is located at next to petaling street at the small corner of the row of shop lot. Open daily from 10.30 am to 8.30 pm closed on Wednesday.

As usual we order the mix beef noodles consist of cow's tripe, mixed internal organs and beef balls, we also add on a bowl of beef slice soup.

The noodles serve here are hand made noodles not the normal alkaline yellow noodle. Noodles are springy and has no alkaline taste. They also serve another type of home made noodles, whitish short noodle(lou shu fun), dont expect it to be the normal qq lou shu fun serve at other places ,the noodles here tend to be less springy probably they didn't put any boric acid. Every bowl of dry noodles top with minced beef which were superbly tasty.

The beef balls have nothing to shout about but is still better than Ngau Kee (Jalan Tong Shin) beef balls.  The tripes are soft and yummy. Some of the unknown organs are tasty as well.

The beef slices soup are highly recommend. Slices of beef were cooked to perfection, tender and strong in flavor. You can still see pinkish in most of the beef slice. The soup of this bowl compare to the mixed organs are totally different, fresh beef slices had definitely made the soup far more superior in taste and aroma.
The meal cost us RM 14.

If you are a supper person, you can always visit the stall operate by the same person in petaling street, outside the foodcourt, they open until late night.
